The Future as we Know it

As the world rapidly changes, we must all adapt to and acclimatise. However, now more than ever, the need to collaborate is no longer a choice but a necessity. Collaboration is key to succeeding and creating a future that is coloured by various perspectives that honour everyone’s skills and unique backgrounds. For all voices to be heard, all voices must be represented. It's time to embed the notion that what we can do together is by far more significant than what we can accomplish individually.

The Collaborative Climb to Leadership

The archaic way of leading autocratically is no longer accepted. The one-man, one-idea method is a no-go. The new normal to leadership? Collaboration. Collaborative leadership is a highly effective management style that sees leaders be more of a beacon of direction than a superior. The benefits of collaboratively leading means transparent communication, room for various options and perspectives and a leader who leads by example and trust.

Marketing Yourself in Your Organisation with Authenticity

You've got the skills, you've got the merit but why does not everyone know about it? There is a fine line between marketing yourself and boasting, especially in the working world. As we continue to develop and advance ourselves, it's important to ensure our people, our network know of our achievements. Too many times we've heard, "there isn't enough black talent". It's time to take our accomplishments to the forefront, so we are not only seen but heard.
