Kojo Marfo is an Aerospace Engineering Graduate who connected with his creative entrepreneurial side during his days at Coventry University. The multiple award winning cultural strategist is the founder of UK's leading organisation for Youth empowerment with a focus on emerging creatives and black businesses.
Having started his organisation, My Runway Group in 2013, the last 8 years have seen Kojo produce multiple campaigns and projects with over 100 Organisations that has impacted over 15,000 young people and 500 black businesses, which spans across youth employability and solving economic issues in the black community. He has been awarded the British Citizen Award for Arts in 2018 and featured in multiple publications including Bloomberg, Forbes and the BBC, for his outstanding work in the creative arts and black community.
Kojo's recent community project, Black In Carnaby : An initiative to offer over 250 black businesses commercial visibility in hight street / prime locations attracted over 70,000 including the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan to the very first black concept store on Carnaby Street.
