Tope Owolabi is an Administrative Planning and Operations Partner for EMEA and LATAM at Facebook. The team is a centralised function within People Operations that in part works to ensure fairness and consistency across the global Admin function. In addition to her role, she is also part of the [email protected] (a Facebook employee resource group) External Partnerships team that aims to bring external communities into Facebook while creating impact and driving change in underrepresented spaces. As such, she has had the honour of partnering with organisations such as the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation, the Black Cultural Archives, and small Black businesses to name a few.
She joined Facebook in 2019 as an Executive Assistant on the EMEA Communications team. Prior to joining Facebook, she worked in the Legal and Finance sectors with companies such as Slaughter and May, American Express, and Barclays where she held Senior Executive Assistant roles supporting C-Suite executives.
As a Politics graduate and qualified Legal Secretary, she is passionate about human rights and amplifying underrepresented voices. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than writing, sports, and travelling to see the world.
